Eric is the jazz bass instructor at the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) Conservatory and teaches private lessons at K.C. Strings.

Past students have achieved success in international competitions, earned scholarships to major conservatories, and have been selected for positions in notable performing groups.
